Terms and Conditions
1 Deposits and confirmation Once you have made a provisional booking Cortijo Rio will invoice you for your holiday. 50% deposit should be paid to secure the booking. The balance should be received no later than 4 weeks before the start date of your booking. In the event that the start date is less than 4 weeks away the full amount must be paid. 2 Balance The balance should be received no later than 4 weeks before the start date of your booking. In the event that the start date is less than 4 weeks away the full amount must be paid. If the balance remains unpaid within this time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and to make a cancellation charge as shown in section 4. Directions to the property and key arrangements will be sent when the balance of payment has been received.
3 Price guarantee At time of printing our prices, prices were true and correct. However Cortijo Rio reserve the right to increase the price of your holiday in the event of currency fluctuation. We will however guarantee that once you have made your booking and paid your final invoice in full, your holiday will not be subject to further surcharges. 4 Cancellation If you have to cancel your booking this must be done in writing. The date of cancellation shall be deemed to be the date written cancellation instructions are received at Cortijo Rio Period before date of arrival: Prior to 4 weeks Loss of deposit. 4 weeks 100% of total holiday cost 5 Commitment Cortijo Rio will endeavour to keep its website commitment, however we reserve the right to alter any operations not directly under our control. We have no control of water, electricity supplies, boilers and mechanical equipment such as ski lifts and therefore are not responsible for failure of such things. 6 Insurance It is a strongly advised that you have appropriate cover for your holiday. 7 Customer liability A fully refundable security deposit of £200 cash to be paid on arrival. We reserve the right to recover from our customers the cost of breakages, damage to accommodation etc caused with or without intent by that customer. This will be returned to you once we have the key back after your holiday and have been able to check the house. If youre leaving early and/or we cannot thoroughly check the house before you leave, the deposit will be credited back into your account. Cortijo Rio does not accept liability for financial loss or damage to property suffered by you. The Customer is expected to behave in a manner that will in no circumstances damage Cortijo Rio.
8 Arrivals
The house will be ready at 3pm. Please let us know what time you will arrive and if you are delayed please let us know as soon as possible.
If you do not let us know in advance, waiting time may be charged at 5 euros per hour. Arrivals after 10.00pm will incur a charge of £20 euros, sorry no arrival after 2am.
